Empowering the Future Through Skills Development

On 18 May 2026, a proud and memorable milestone was celebrated at the Ndebele Kingdom Headquarters in KwaMhlanga, eNgwenyameni, as twenty unemployed learners successfully completed their learnership programme through Omega Training Academy.

The official SASSETA certificate handover ceremony marked not only the completion of the programme, but also the beginning of new opportunities for the learners who have dedicated themselves to personal growth, skills development, and future employment within the security industry.

The event was honoured by the presence of the royal family of His Majesty, King Makhosonke II, whose attendance added great significance and inspiration to the occasion. His Majesty’s support for education, empowerment, and youth development continues to encourage communities to invest in building a stronger future through learning and skills training.

The learnership programme forms part of Omega Risk Solutions‘ ongoing commitment to uplifting communities and creating meaningful opportunities for unemployed individuals. Through accredited training and development initiatives, the company aims to equip learners with practical skills, industry knowledge, and qualifications that improve employability and contribute positively to society.

Addressing attendees during the ceremony, representatives from Omega Risk Solutions and Omega Training Academy expressed their pride in the learners’ achievements and acknowledged the dedication and perseverance shown throughout the programme. Families, community leaders, and guests joined in celebrating the graduates as they received their SASSETA certificates — a symbol of hard work, commitment, and hope for a brighter future.

The ceremony highlighted the importance of partnerships between business, traditional leadership, and training institutions in driving community development and empowering South Africa’s youth.

Omega Risk Solutions extends its sincere gratitude to His Majesty, King Makhosonke II, the Ndebele Kingdom leadership, SASSETA and Omega Training Academy, who contributed towards the success of the programme and the special occasion.

As these newly qualified learners move forward into the next chapter of their careers, the event served as a reminder that education and skills development remain powerful tools in transforming lives and strengthening communities across South Africa.
