Operating across multiple African countries since 2003, it is currently focused on the SADEC region, West and Central Africa. ORS provides manned guarding, 24/7 monitoring and response, technology-integrated security, and specialist risk services — delivered under a single SLA and a single Account Director across jurisdictions. In Mozambique the group operates as Arkhê Risk Solutions; in Zimbabwe as West Group Security Services (ORS holds shares and management control); in Namibia as Omega Security Services.

How It Works

ORS deploys manned guarding in every country where it operates, with armed or unarmed staffing determined by a site-specific threat assessment rather than a fixed default. Monitoring and response is delivered through 24/7 control rooms across its operating countries. Loss control is a retail-focused service for supermarket and FMCG chains, offered only in ORS’s foreign markets (not South Africa).

For specialist capabilities — polygraph testing, forensic investigation, demining, and certain technology installations — ORS manages and supervises accredited specialist partners where local law or specialist capability requires it, rather than claiming in-house delivery it does not provide. All countries comply to the same Quality Management System rules, even where local regulatory training requirements differ by country.
